Montasio Piancada cheese is crafted in the small artisanal dairy of the Luvisutti Brothers, just a few kilometers from Ronchis. For generations, this family has been transforming local Friulian milk into cheeses with a unique flavor, using the traditional methods of our land.
From the fresh version—with its soft, sweet taste that even children love—to the aged varieties of 3, 6, and up to 24 months, each piece tells the story of a slow, careful, artisanal process. The extra-aged Montasio, matured for nearly two years, is the jewel of the production: perfect with polenta or grated over rich pasta dishes.
